Jessica Alba has been spotted in the Beverly Hills, Hollywood and Malibu areas lately, looking for a new house.

Well, house-shopping and eating a sub sandwich on the run…

Katherine Heigl is a bit newer to the Hollywood It Girl scene… I like her so far because she hasn’t had any scandals associated with her name and doesn’t seem to do ridiculous publicity stunts.

Plus, she’s just plain gorgeous… and not stick-thin.

Katherine did a cover shoot for the October 2007 issue of In Style magazine… here are some scans.

We’ve seen Britney, Lindsay, Paris and some other girls do it: one minute, they are sweet and famous and normal.

But then the paparazzi starts photographing them 24-7. They are followed everywhere, featured on magazine covers, invited to all of the best Hollywood parties, then photographed some more.

Soon they begin partying… and often times, it turns into a DUI or rehab.

So now that the beautiful and talented Hayden Panettiere is being photographed absolutely everywhere, we have to wonder: will she be the next Hollywood party girl? Will she be eventually caught stumbling out of drinking establishments (even before she turns 21), or will she remain a good role model like say, Hilary Duff?

One of our favorite it-girls, Mary Kate Olsen, appears in the October 2007 issue of Harper’s Bazaar. She is wearing a weird red wig in some of the photos.

Um, no. That wig does not look good on her - adds like 10 years to her age.

However, the photo shoot in general was quite interesting, although… odd.

Paris the naughty heiress apparently decided to let loose last night… several photos hit the radar today of her nearly falling down and being helped around by people. Plus, she apparently was doing some sort of drunken, provocative dance after knocking back a few too many.

You gotta hand it to the girl - not only does she have on a fabulous dress (at least I think so), but she manages to look good even while being wasted. I mean, most people manage to look really, really bad in their “drunk” photos.

Paris the naughty heiress gave a beach party over this past weekend in Malibu.

Personally, I think she just wanted an opportunity to pose in various ways for the paparazzi. Especially now that she is supposedly moving to a more secluded and private house. She reportedly sold her Sunset Blvd. home and plans to move somewhere more “private and secluded”.

Uh huh.

The lovely Mischa Barton was spotted in Soho in NYC the other day doing some serious shopping damage.

Let’s see, we’ve got Anna Sui, InterMix… can’t tell what the other bag is.

I’m not even going to pretend I’m not jealous. I only wish we could see in the bags!

I love love love the look on her face here. It’s sort of like she’s thinking damn these nutcase paparazzi can’t they see I’m trying to get my shop on… I wish they’d leave me alone but then wait, I wouldn’t be featured on all these magazines and gossip blogs. OK, I’ll just smile and hopefully they’ll get the f*ck out of my way!
